Game Dev, Food Nerd, Cat Dad
Hi, I’m Brian - video game industry vet, food obsessive, and probably the reason you heard someone say, “Hold on, let me take a picture first,” before dinner.
With over a decade at places like Electronic Arts, I’ve seen the magic behind the curtain and lived the grind of making games. That gives me a unique seat at the table - equal parts developer and player, critic and fan.
My favorite game of all time? Fallout 2, no contest. I’ll happily ramble about board games, tweak a Magic: The Gathering deck, or daydream through deep space in Star Citizen. I drink cold water like it’s a personality trait, brew my own cold brew (McLaughlin loyalist for 11 years), and yes, I treat the perfect pizza slice with the reverence it deserves.
Musical taste? Chaos mode: anything from classical to metal, sprinkled with steel band and bluegrass. Country’s the only genre that hasn’t bribed its way into my playlists… yet.
Oh - and if you notice a fluffy face popping up in posts, photos, or even passive-aggressively sitting on a keyboard mid-review, that’s Kaliri. She’s our cat, our accidental co-host, and honestly, the real queen of this operation.
